A solid bolted down dome would solve all above issues but the upper temperature limitation 40-45˚C is just odd.
The board is exposed to around 300˚C when it is reflow soldered with all the SMD components.
Maybe the copper of all the antenna elements expands beyond a tolerable range above 45˚C but with all the very precise phase shifting of the signal for each element one would think it is comparatively child's play to compensate any frequency drift caused by heat.
I think these antennas have to handle a fairly wide frequency bandwidth anyway.

They say not certified above 40 degrees, probably an out in case of degraded performance.
You know how the yanks have to cover their asses...
I'm thinking about ordering it to have a play....

Elon Musk's SpaceX wants to beam its Starlink satellite internet to ships, planes, trucks, and RVs - but not Teslas, because the antennas required are too big

How they want to mount a satellite dish onto a jet that flies over 900km/h will be interesting.

My Health , my Family and my Property are not Government business. Governments should do what they were designed to do . Govern the issues that are best done by a central body in the country to protect it from foreign invasion.State Governments and Local Councils should be abolished to stop the duplication and waste of funds.
To defeat corruption in the public service , give them three times the penalty. Have them agree on hiring.

A lot of the numbers don't make sense to me ~ they started launching these birds in early 2019, and each bird has a life expectancy of 4~5 years...so of the roughly 1,500 birds they've launched so far, 3-4% have already failed, and the first of these birds will need replacing in a couple of years time....
...in the meanwhile, the entire constellation is to be 42,000 birds strong, with 'stage 1' requiring 12,000 operating birds...which they're predicting will be hoisted by 2030....which will require 1,300+ birds to be launched per year for the next 8 years, and that doesn't cover the number of birds that will have to be launched to replace the ones that reach EOL every 5 years....so the number starts looking like 1,500+ birds a year....
...quite obviously, I think these numbers were mooted on the premise of the yet to fly 'starship' being able to hoists 400 birds at a time into LEO...
...and where will we be with wireless comms by 2030?....6G?...7G?....and telcos are going to roll that out anyway, on existing infrastructure upgrades...ie; like has already happened -- we don't get slugged extra for 4G over 3G...
I can't see it being a thing....but either way, you've got a week to decide whether or not these sorts of numbers make sense to you ...I'll be dead by 2030 =)

LoL...m'kay, when was your last psyche eval?
Haha, jokes aside, it'll be interesting to hear how it all pans out for you, maybe it's worth a separate thread?...ie; 'Starlink downunder ~ the reality 2022'...
Either way, it'll be good to have some first hand aussie feedback....do you know if they have any AU based uplinks commissioned yet?
There's one at Bullabulling , about 90km away, not sure it's live or not.
There's a nbn one just south of Kalgoorlie as well.
