    Default Mesh networks and info

Hi, I'd like to know what are the differences between a Mesh wifi network and a non-Mesh one.
I"m going to set a non-Mesh one but I'm going to assign the same SSID, passwords, etc. at my powerline and access points..
The switching to the different wifi points when I walk in the different my house's areas 1) is not the same management of Mesh WiFi system?
In a Mesh network if you connect to the different points 2) will you have short drop of connections as you are in a nom-Mesh one?
    Thanks for your help!!!!

A mesh network will allow you to move between AP’s and coverage areas seamlessly, without dropping the connection. The mesh system will also generally select the strongest AP.

Setting up several non-mesh AP’s will mean that when moving between those AP’s and coverage areas the connection will drop from one and reconnect with the next, meaning there will be a loss with the connection. A non mesh system may also not select the strongest AP if there is large areas of overlapping coverage.
