Default Is a working Austar 4.1 card worth keeping any more ?

I have a working Austar 4.1 card and working Austar ABS-8776 STB (something like 21+ years old)

I'm thinking of of cancelling the account and sending the STB back as I also have another Foxtel Account with an NDS card and working STB (but this one has the satellite FTA channels in Sydney Metro area)

Just wondering if the Austar 4.1 card is worth keeping the account going or not ?

    cheers

I have one as well, owned since it was new, kept it as a second room box when I upgraded to iQ3, I terminated it last year as it wasn't being used. The Foxtel phone assistant said they don't want them back, however suggested I keep it somewhere, so that in case of a Foxtel box failure, they could temporarily re-enable the Austar box while waiting for a replacement.

At the end of the day it sounds like you're paying for something you're not using. I kept mine for longer than I really used it for.
