    He was never my cup of tea, having said that he was still performing to paid crowds at the time of his death. If you can manage to do that for near 50 years, its definitely more than luck.
    I can remember seeing him on Countdown and looking very out of place.

    I'm an odd one out then. I liked Doug's voice, especially in Dear Prudence, but also when he sang in the band Fanny Adams.

    Strangely enough, the only Parkinson of whom I am aware was a TV personality on the ABC.
