    Default Anyone seen this?

    Hi all

I think I have an issue with some spyware or malware. Nothing turns up in the scans I have run but the problem still persists.

What happens is this. Use the internet and randomly a popup opens and displays one of two messages. The popup appears as a firefox window (the browser I run) and appears to stop any internet access until I close the window.

A screen shot is shown of one of the popup's and the other makes mention of being for a dialup connection.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest that you click on the properties window and you may be able to get the info to ban the name or url in your firewall.
    Kindest Regards.

have you tried drweb cureit, found stuff that others did not for me.
    Free, worth a try.
It is a standalone product that does not install.

I have used spybot, pestpatrol and agv anti spyware. I have also scanned with symantec anti virus with expanded and in memory threats also being checked.

Are you sure its a webpage
Right Button on the page and select view source.
If you get something post the contents of the source.
Otherwise it might be the windows dialog box for internet connections (i.e. dialup connections)

    Did you have dialup previously?

Goto to control panel->Network Connection and list what you have there. Include the status column
