Default Bloody Windows 10 and dotnet3.5 again

    Conditions:
    - Windows 10 must stay always offline.
    - I can not open a W10 iso to extract .net otherwise I end up with a corrupted system(as happened before) because I use a heavily modded version that must never get 'updated'.

1- Is there a way to force W10 to actually use the 'offline' dotnetfx35.exe that you can download from M$ ?
It always wants to download it from the Internet when I start it. It is the full installer 240MB.

2- Does anybody have a source for this .net version extracted from the W10 iso that will install without it asking to download from the Internet?
Update: A deletion of features that work well and ain't broke but are deemed outdated in order to add things that are up to date and broken.
Compatibility: A word soon to be deleted from our dictionaries as it is outdated.
Humans: Entities that are not only outdated but broken... AI-self-learning-update-error...terminate...terminate...

    Pease read my OP.
I can not use a Win10 iso or install disc otherwise it corrupts the system This happened before, just inserting/opening it and this shit Windows10 starts to 'update'.
I also know how to use dsim in the command line, I don't need an app for that.

    I am not using a vanilla Win10.

Using that specific installer? (not the M$ offering) ; I did read, that's why I suggested a non-M$ installer =)

That is not an installer but an extractor for the Win10 image.

    You still are not understanding:
I CAN NOT INSERT A DVD OR ISO BECAUSE THAT BREAKS MY SYSTEM.

Bugger... oh well, win10 is broken from the get-go IMHO ; you may well be stuck (there's a multitude of threads out there wrt this problem)

edit: stoopid thought, but what does the installer do if you disconnect machine from the 'net?

The installer M$ version wants me to connect to the net. A Win10 DVD/image corrupts my machine. It has NEVER been online.

The only time I ever let any Windows online is in a VM.

Although you're over it all, it would've been interesting to see what the (stand-lone) installer did when run by itself =)

    All done, no errors.
Although you're over it all, it would've been interesting to see what the (stand-lone) installer did when run by itself =)

Thought I mentioned often enough: it ignores the fact that it is the full version download and wants to DL it from the net, which it can't because I am offline.
It complains about that and the only other option is cancel.
In the past these dotnetfx35 offline DLs worked fine for me with Win7, just never with Win10.
They must not be compatible or something although .net searches for Win10 link me to that M$ site to DL, which is the same one fantm666 posted. You can only DL SP1 but it is still called dotnexfx35.

Now when I open the M$ original dotnetfx35 after I used the hack version the window just closes, well doesn't actually open, only the one asking if I want the app to make changes...

My application works, that's all I need.

I'm pleased you got it going, just as a thought, given that the machine is not going to be talking to M$ if you can help it, could you not revert to W7 or is the software too "new" for that?
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

i always get the offline full packages because sometimes i am
doing it and dont have the network connected.

My computer that runs my cnc and laser were both done
offline and have never been online

It is the other way around, the hardware is too new to run W7 anymore, big headache.
Companies don't provide drivers for 7.
I did try to run 7 on a little Dell Inspirion I carry around sometimes using some exotic third party drivers but was no reliable, well when is Windows reliable but it was worse than W10 and ended up with corrupt drive. Luckily just swap the SSD for these experiments.

This was for a new fan-less Chinese thingy that performs astonishing well, well as long as you don't play modern games.
I might as well say what is for.
I am now coding Nanos with BASIC ...woot!
Thanks to an awesome streamlined compiler and IDE called Great Cow BASIC :
Far better than my former habit of coding MicroChip PICs with Pic Basic Pro but the Great cow can handle those too and a lot of things.
I have access and control of all the machines

Just can't stand Arduino C and those millions of obscure libraries and objects.

NEVER connect your machines and laser to the net otherwise this might happen (after the Smart lights start to flicker in the video around 2:34)

...and while we are at it, I wish all commercials where as good as this:

I said I wanted to control ALL the machines but I got a very long way to go yet.

Completely off thread but on the subject of robotics - I have never succeeded ... 5:48 really appeals!

If Australia is a democracy why, then, is voting compulsory?

    Not completely off topic.
That floating self solving cube is controlled by a Nano if I see it right and interfacing with them while bypassing Arduino code was the reason why I started this thread.
