Good luck Grant. Tell us a little more about yourself, this is the INTRODUCTION thread, after all!
Hello.
Been 20 years since I played with satellite gear. Back then was a foxtel dish, diseqc motor and a Humax IR-5410Z and an Optus card.
Only ever use to see what was free to watch and lost interest at the 200+ crappy channels.
Wish I knew back then the fun that could be had at all the other satellite infrastructure that's been there for years.
Now I want to do the same except snoop and see more, capture live feeds and such.
Wish me luck!

I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...
Well Im really old or feel it anyway. 46 lol...
Live in Melb and love to tinker, if I see something on youtube I like to have a go at it myself.
I love windows/dislike linux but run Kali to play with different software.
I have a prospecting license, I love to go bush in the Land Rover and look for gold or gemstones.
Sheetmetal Worker for 14 years, had to leave November last year.
So for me I'm on my first real break in over 20 years I skipped long service and cashed it out, wish I hadn't.
I have a large mix of interest, Sci-fi, gold prospecting and chemical processing.
Shooting, camping, 4wding...
Fossil hunting, caving, looking for abandone places to photograph or Urbexing...
Computers, gaming on Xbox, picking up stuff off the side of the road :P
I like gardening, at times... looking at green stuff makes me happy.
I hope this suffices, lots of wisdom on here and hope I can either impart some or take some.
Grant..
You'll certainly find plenty of interest around here. I popped in a few years back for a look and they tied me up for ransom. No one paid, so, I'm still here. You'll get lots of info in the satellite and communications forum. Have fun!

Nice into, Grant.
Welcome aboard.
