    Default Nighthawk M1 Update

I am currently using firmware version NTG9X50C_12.06.02.00.

For some time I have had a message that an update is available.

I am of the opinion that, "if it aint broke don't fix it".

Is there anyway of turning off this message?

P.S. I am quite happy to ignore it if it cannot be turned off.

    From netgear.......

There is no option to disable firmware updates on MR1100. You will be notified that there is an update available and will be given an opportunity to update the firmware 3 times. If after the 3rd time the firmware is not updated then MR1100 will update the firmware.

    Telstra firmware may differ....

    changelog:

    Bug Fixes:

    • Updated AutoAPN database to 01.30
    • Reverted a change that could potentially cause the device loses data connection when temperary out of coverage
    • Addressed the issue that Heated Battery Alert is displayed prematurely
    • Addressed the connection issue when ethernet offloading to Orbi
    • Disabled WiFi and Ethernet port standby timers when the device is tethered or charged

Note: Ethernet port will not be available when the device is tethered with computer

Touch wood so far no "automatic" update.

None of those "Bug Fixes" concern me.

Ignore seems the way to go ..

EDIT: I have just changed provider (today), so checked the M1 and no update message and the firmware version is as quoted above.
