Default Hikvision PoE NVR Recording Issues

We are running a Hikvision 32 channel DS7700 PoE NVR. It currently has 11 cameras running, with 6 of those receiving power from the NVR itself. They don't pull more than a quarter of the PoE load. All cameras are set to motion recording.

Between 6-10AM, the recording seems fine, but after that the cameras only record every second hour. There will be a bunch of recording, then a huge gap of almost exactly an hour, before the cameras start recording again.

As far as I can tell the cameras are set to record whenever they see motion, 24 hours a day.

I'm assuming it's either a setting I have missed somewhere. (Using iVMS4200 as the recorder is offsite) If it was the recorder getting overloaded & shutting down, it shouldn't take an hour exactly to reboot.

Inside "Remote Config" -> "Event" -> "Motion Detection" each of the cameras have motion detection set all day. There is another "Schedule" tab which also looks properly configured.

Any clues on what is causing this?

P.S. does anyone know how Hikvision cameras/recorders deal with the hour when we leave daylight saving? Does it keep the first hour, the second, both or neither. Looking at the footage when daylight saving ended I got very confused.

Re- DLS, I think it records both hours.
