    Default Dahua network ipc problem

    Hey folks,

I've got a Dahua NVR with ip cameras, I'm using comfast 5ghz AP's to bridge networks to other buildings to connect the cameras back to the NVR,

Now It has been working without a problem for months, then the other day the power went out for a couple of hours and after that what's happening is that when the NVR boots up all cameras work as normal but after 30min or so all the cameras running through the AP drop out and it says "failed to find network host".

You can reboot the NVR and they work again as normal for a limited time, then drop out again. I can still access all the cameras through a Web browser on the same network so it's just the NVR losing connection for some reason...

The comfast ap is running off the poe of the NVR also

    Any ideas?

Tech support guys will tell you to run your AP off the NVR’s WAN, not the POE LAN.
I had a similar issue and had to update the NVR firmware, and set my Dahua cameras to static IP and untick “Get IP address from xxx” - I can’t remember exactly what but it’s on the camera’s network page.
