I have a Kenwood 430S Tranceiver that has had very little use over the past 20 odd years and wonder if anyone would want to buy it at $500.

They were very expensive to buy new and you need a HF licence to transmit on them in a lot of countries but they put out a hundred or so watts and are capable of going almost anywhere on the useable frequency spectrum . You will find a lot about them on the net.

The Kenwood TS-430S is designed for SSB, CW, AM and FM (optional) modes. Coverage is 160 through 10 meters including the WARC bands. All solid-state technology is inputed rated at 250 PEP on SSB, 200W DC on CW, 120W FM (optional) and 60W AM. General coverage receive from 150 kHz to 30 MHz is featured

Certain mods have been made to cover all frequencies between so its great for listening too.

PM me if you are interested .
