    Default Failed climate summit

Not talking about the but Scomo being stubborn stupid again.

If the Eurocrates want some zero emission date then Scomo should just give them a random one if he actually had a brain and cared about our economy.
Who cares is nobody fulfils it as most of them won't be around(in office) 30 years from now anyhow, Biden certainly wont be and all the US promises could go up in gun smoke 2024.

What matters is that we need Europe now to replace China for our exports and not more bloody tariffs because we are unwilling to play the climate change game.

I am quite certain we could become one of the world's leading Hydrogen producers(not because of Scomo but FMG ) and I am heavily invested in all that but give them a blooming Zero-Em date and be done with it ...jeez Scomo, it can't be that hard.

Not going to happen when you have 2 ex Gas Executives in your office as political advisers and 2 of your top party donors are gas and coal
Reality is politicians of all varieties do not represent the voters interests but vested interests
There is a fine line between "Hobby" and "Madness"

Correct but a politician just needs to talk the talk not walk the walk, especially not in 30 years.

Scomo is talking up hydrogen so the fossils should be more scared of that.
In reality none of our coal power stations will be working anymore in 30 years.
Those donors should be scared of the banks who will not finance new ones.

However by 2050 it might be no problem to run coal power 100% carbon neutral will a big tank of algae instead of a chimney:

...although I am now drifting from the actual topic
