I'm located a couple of hours out of Sydney, write (non-relevant) books for a living. Dog, cat, couple of kids and a Mrs. Do a fair bit of remote area travel around the place when able.

Tech-relevant interests at this time revolve mostly around radio (UHF CB and commercial) as well as some internet stuff, android apps, GPS and navigation, sUAS, DSLR photography, night vision and thermal imagery, PLBs, etc.

Sounds like fun! I have friends in and around Sydney. I was planning on heading over there last year but COVID got in the way. This year am heading North so might look at next year.
