    Dodgy. I can't understand why he didn't do it properly and use a long-range HID reader as a mounting plate.

    When it rains, water was dripping from above right on to the reader.
    Here is what the security guy came up with:



    It has been like this for 2 weeks now...

    I guess that when you have only a 50.000$ annual budget for "Maintenance Access Control" you cannot expect much.
    Next time they better call the plumber.
