WOW! That's so good, I'll say it backwards, WOW! I'm guessing that it will probably go up for auction and fetch a very pretty penny, too!
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...
Yea there still out there I have done thousands of miles throughout Victoria and NSW looking for old cars and found this ute less than 1 kilometer from home not as original as the holden and needing
quite a bit of mechanical repairs but I drove it home that day and it come up pretty good with a wash.

Now you have me jealous Red! I've always liked the XT, but an XR like that is right up my alley. What's the engine? 170 or 188. (IRC they didn't go 200 or 221 until the XT) Doesn't look like a 289, but it could be. Tranny? Auto, RATS box?

Mmmm, think i like the original wheels better
There is a fine line between "Hobby" and "Madness"
The Holden Premier would be a nice classic to own.. Did you buy it hoe ? Or is it for sale online somewhere ? If only it was a factory v8. $$$
Is that a valiant wrapped in plastic next to it?

Yes, it's a fully restored ap5.....
Belongs to the panelbeater/spray painter who polished up the hk...
Put a carby kit in the hk this morning, running sweet now...

When I saw that Valiant in the photo, fond childhood memories emerged but only of a short time period.
My father had an AP5 Regal in the 1960's which was so smooth and looked cool and I felt proud when my dad picked me up from school with it.
Unfortunately my father hated the Regal and bought a brand new VW Fastback a few months later.
I hated the Fastback, noisy ugly thing.
It was that bad that I was ashamed to go to school.
I always made sure that my parents let me walk the 1/2 hour school path each way, so I get my 'exercise'.
I only got interested in cars again when he bought a Ford Capri in the 70's.

If u intend to drive it a lot there is a fuel additive for the older leaded cars
That's fantastic Hoe. People dream of finding something like that. Very envious!
