I bought a mediastar sg5150 with "superscalar rings", put it on my 3.7m dish, works great (on telcom4, 108 east). Subsequently pointed my 2.3m mesh to 166 east on intelsat19, with old Strong lnb; lots of interference, thus I purchased a Satking SKU 3103. This gave me the opportunity to compare these 2 new LNBF's. I swapped the units on my 3.7m dish, peaked signal and compared readings on my satfinder (satlink st-5150) minutes apart, I used the superscalar rings for both lnbf:

Efarina TV (3977/H/2082, 3/4), standard sd:
Satking sku-3103, signal strength: 93%, quality 37% MER 6.4 dB
Mediastar sg5150, signal strength: 77%, quality 38% MER 6.2 dB

TransTv (3888/H/9600, 3/5), HD;
Satking sku-3103, signal strength: 94%, quality 41% MER 7.0 dB
Mediastar sg5150, signal strength: 95%, quality 34% MER 5.8 dB

I left the satking on the dish as it gives a slightly better reception especially on the more complex signals like transtv hd (btw picture quality of this channel is impressive). On my GTmedia UHD satellite box both channels come in un-pixelated, quality reading are much higher (70% +) then on my satlink satmeter, but I think that this has little meaning and the satlink satfinder has a more sensitive tuner.
