Default Pc power supply for dc to dc charger

Hi all I have a projecta idc 45 dc to dc charger installed in my caravan with 320w solar and 2 x 130a agm batteries installed.

I would like to have a backup 240v supply or assist with a bulk charge from a 240v outlet when at a caravan park etc.

I was thinking of installing a pc switchmode power supply and connecting to the alternator input via an Anderson plug.

My main question is if I get a 700w power supply is that only good for 24a max or since it has multiple +12v outlets can I get more than 24amps out of it. I know I will need to enable to ignition control as the supply will only be 12v and the charger will need to pull more current to get the voltage up. Just confused around the outputs of the Atx supplies, by my calcs at 12v and 700w it would be 50+ amps.

I have uploaded a screenshot of one I was looking at. Any help clarifying this would be greatly appreciated.

Computer power supplies are not suitable as battery chargers.
They are regulated at 12V and you need 13.7V to charge the batteries.

Going by the specs on the charger it will charge from 9v, so this should work fine.
The power supply has a max of 24a per rail. I’m not sure if you could just join 2 rails to get 48a. Someone else maybe be able to answer that for you.

In my opinion, the best option is to get yourself a decent 240v charger, a noco or the like.
