You need new firmware, Version 2.0.0 had an issue with exit beeps in stay mode. Go to 2.0.5 and no exit beeps in stay mode.
There is going to be version 3.0 in a few weeks time.
Hi All,
I am in the process of upgrading my Bosch Solution 880 to a Solution 3000 and am having trouble setting up STAY mode to start immediately (without exit countdown timer) upon pressing the STAY button. (I am isolating upstairs and downstairs).
The second IUI-SOL-ICON keypad is in the bedroom and I don't want to wake up others late at night when I activate STAY mode with the exit countdown timer beeping loudly until STAY mode becomes active.
I have A-LINK plus software and can change exit time to 0 seconds however this also applies to AWAY mode also and I do need some time to exit when activating AWAY mode.
On my current Solution 880, when I hit AWAY mode, exit countdown timer is 30 seconds however when I hit STAY mode upstairs it just starts immediately with no countdown timer and with a couple of very short beeps so I know it is possible.
Alternatively, is there any way to silence the second IUI-SOL-ICON keypad so it doesn't make any sound during exit countdown?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thank you

I'm not sure. It might only be via the direct connect module.
Can this stay mode be operated and programmed via a keyfob.
Need to get it activated and deactivated via keyfob while going to bed. Just need to know how the programming can be done. Thanks
Keyfobs can operate the stay mode. Depends on which remotes/ radio receiver you have as to how it is setup.
Installer code would be required to do programming changes.
Hi Secure, I have got the B810 receiver with 2 x 4 button stainless steel remotes. They are already connected to panel to arm and disarm. Just need to do the programming for stay mode on 7 inch touch screen.
I have got the installer code as well.
Cheers.
Should be a case of just adding 8 to the number in location 492. Can also add 4 for strobe to flash when using remotes if not already done.
I think the WE800 remotes do stay mode as standard.
Button 1 is arm and disarm away mode
Button 2 is arm and disarm stay mode.
Otherwise it is as above, add 8 to Loc 492
Hi Secure
Thank you. You were right. Stay mode is standard on button 2 of the keyfob. Thank you for your help again.
Also if I need to setup Stay mode 2 as well, is there a benefit of that and how do we do the programming for same. Like in Stay mode 1, the bottom level is armed while you are upstairs but lets say you want to put garage armed on stay mode 2 while disarm the whole house. Can this be done via programming for stay mode 2.
Stay mode 1 - Bottom Level armed, Top level disarmed
Stay mode 2 - Garage Armed, Rest is disarmed
If you can advise the programming for Stay mode 2, will much appreciate again.
Thanks heaps.
Yes the stay mode 2 can be setup for the garage.
Stay mode 2 programming is set up using the user master code. It will be in the alarm user manual for your panel. The remotes will not arm stay mode 2.
I've never set up stay mode 2.
It can only be done in installer programming mode.
Can turn beeps off all together or adjust the beep volume. Location 491
You should still be able to connect to panel with 2.0.5 firmware by selecting Solution panel V2.0.0 with Alink 5.2.4 as I only have Alink 5.2.4 and have done panel firmware upgrades and can still connect to them.
I think Bosch is about to release a new version panel firmware, which I think might be V3.0.0 and a new Alink version.
Don`t know why it`s not connecting. It finds the panel when searching for it, just wont talk to it. Will try again.
Still no luck talking to panel. It worked before updating firmware to 2.0.5 on panel.
