Default HIK Intercom to Door Station to HIK-Connect App

Ok so the setup is an Intercom DS-KB8112-IM that is connected to the same network as the Door Statoion DS-KH8350-TE1 and then through to HIK-Connect so that when someone pushes the intercom you get the call on the phone app and can answer it.

Now the Intercom to Door Station works no problems. When it comes to the HIK-Connect App I can see the notifications that someone has used the intercom but it never rings on the phone or in the app.

Now looking at the App, online help and the HIK-Connect manual I see that it should be enable to alarm notifications for the device but I can't seem to find it in the currect versio of the app which looks different to the ones shown as screenshots.

Any help would be greatfully apprecipated.

Are the intercoms also connected to the local client network?
The normal Hik-connect app is the app to use. Just make sure it is the current version from the app store.
Also check you are using the latest firmware in intercom modules.

If using iPhone check notifications are on in iPhone settings, toggle on and off and reboot iPhone (this is 90% the problem usually). Check notifications are on in Hik-Connect app, however i think you've got that on. Test on Android device if possible to narrow down issue. Lastly test on 4G to seperate wifi issues.

Just confirming, the POE switch is also connected to local client network so it can access the internet for cloud server connection for app to work.

Is it for a company that has a manged IT dept? They may have blocked the SIP ports (5060) on their firewalls...
