The bad bad Chinese again, stealing all our secrets:
The Five Eyes and our Australian gov now very angry at the Chinese and they must be held accountable but nobody even thinks about blaming Microsoft for providing these back doors and holding M$ accountable.Tens of thousands of organisations across the world were exposed by the Microsoft Exchange hack.
M$ has been providing dodgy software full of vulnerabilities for many decades now, updating and updating only creating more vulnerabilities.
It should be sad but it has become hilarious.
This is precisely the same thing as leaving the back door of your house open when you go out.
Well guess what, if you do that your insurance will never pay if anything gets stolen.
No, I can't blame the Chinese if we serve our secrets on a platter like that for everyone to grab.
When will the sheeple learn!

There is a book about the early micro computer industry, called “Accidental Empires”. It is a classic and something that any person working in the computer industry should read.
One recurring theme (and nothing has changed in the 30+ years since) is that Microsoft is a marketing company that has a hobby of producing kinda sorta ok software.

I’ll add a bit to this. The Exchange vulnerability affected people using “Outlook Web Access”. In effect, they were exposing their internal email server to the internet via a web interface. Doing this without a reverse proxy or at least some sort of non-Microsoft security device between the server and the outside world is asking for trouble.

Need I suggest the alternatives?.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

Better not, you might offend someone.
However if people really need to access their emails through the web and keep them there rather than using something sensible like Thunderbird (that deletes the mails from the server after it has downloaded them and you can set it to do that automatically every minute) then I would suggest Proton Mail.

"... exploited vulnerabilities in Microsoft Exchange Server ...."
Nuf said.
If Australia is a democracy why, then, is voting compulsory?
"What has changed between the arrival of the First Fleet and today?"
"Wearing leg irons is now not required."
Guess I could've hoisted this in the jokes section, but I figure this is a good pointer to how seriously M$ take their userbase ;
