Probably the most accurate data is published . People can read and decide what do they feel is good for them.

Thats worse than i experienced while actually having covid........

You would think that there would be a correlation between reactions to the vaccination and severity of covid symptoms if you weren't vaccinated. If so your friend could have been in serious trouble .

first i noticed was my morning coffee was tasteless, bit off colour for a day or so. This was early on, I didn't realise till the taste thing became public that I'd actually had it.

Quite possible - not an expert but it sounds immune system reacted pretty sharp. She is currently dreading the second dose as it is expected to cause more severe reaction.

BTW, you are the first person who had this covid thing I hear from (excluding TV commercials). I hope you recovered fast and easy.
What is your condition today? Do you have any post covid problems?

    No problem at all.
If it wasn't for the loss of taste I wouldn't even know I had it.

No, it was just as covid appeared, Jan last year.

I reckon it was covid due to loss of taste.

I'm having yearly medical next week, I'll get it checked then.

First Covid cases in Australia where discovered mid Feb last year. Where you in Wuhan?

A lot of things can lead to loss of taste, while anybody could have Covid and be transmissible without showing any symptoms at all.

    But not locally acquired:
The patient, a man from Wuhan, flew to Melbourne from Guandong on 19 January.
Hence the reason why I asked Hoe if he had been to Wuhan.
He could have only got it locally around mid February.

It was first identified in wuhan in Dec 2019.

It could have been around before then.

Only the lab would know for sure.....

No variant back then, just a Covid-19 full stop.
Glad you got out of it easy, hoe.

It would be interesting to know if you still have titer to handle possible Delta strain. Unfortunately, this type of tests are not done on a regular basis in Australia.

    Jeez, what is your problem?
You are like a hysterical housewife.

I am not arguing, just trying to clarify that what I meant was first cases locally acquired in Australia in Feb after WhiteOx pointed out that cases had been introduced to Australia earlier.

That's because I am a curious person and am very interested in Hoe's case.

This is the statistic of all recorded cases on a daily base in Western Australia:

Their first case was on the 21st of Feb and second case was on the 28th but Hoe initially wanted to visit the doc on the 27th.
He just missed out on being WA's patient zero but based on the wide range of incubation time he still could have been.

In my eyes this makes him famous.

The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.

No way I was patient zero in WA....

I hadn't been anywhere in months besides Kalgoorlie and Perth.

The particular medical centre I went to is owned by south Africans and was full of south African and local patients when I was there.

Probably some recent arrivals from overseas....

That was on the 27th of Feb, the next appointment in march was the cancelled one....

Thanks for clearing that up because your screen shot says that THIS appointment was cancelled and the date below 27th.

We have a Trinity Medical centre locally too with interestingly named doctors but they are not South African.
They will prescribe me any med and antibiotic I want without annoying tests and procedures AFTER I have done my own research.

However I will never send my wife and kids there anymore as they have misdiagnosed things in the past.
