They make us wait 30mins after our shots. My second "Rasta Zenica" is to happen termorrer. Son & wife had their second "Fizzer" a few days back and said they were stuft the next day. Time will tell with me, I suppose.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...
I had my 2nd jab of AZ last week and all is good. Just waiting for my link-up to complete with mygov.
The 1st jab gave me a slight fever and a Tom Jones boner. Well, it's not unusual..
And the point of this is? All it says to me is that some people are stupid and that state by state so called medical advice is suspect at best. If you've got nine competing state and federal medical experts with different opinions then either eight of them are wrong, or all of them are. FFS, GET THE FIRST AVAILABLE. Simples!

I used to believe the conspiracy theories about the Covid vaccine, but then something happened that instantly changed my mind.
I had a quick glance at the people saying it.
The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.

Since my second dose I have really noticed the improved 5G reception at home. Once the kids are done we should be able to get coverage everywhere
That's my argument with those in SA and WA when they refer to "how good" they have it, and why Sydney and Melbourne, followed by Brisbane are problem areas.
They forget the significant population size of Melbourne and Sydney, all within a confined area when compared to the full state population of SA and WA.
SA
Grab the whole population of SA (not just Adelaide, but the whole state);
Times the number by 3;
Equals just (only) the population of Sydney or Melbourne alone (not the state) in a confined area.
WA
Grab the whole population of WA (not just Perth, but the whole state);
Times the number by 2;
Equals just (only) the population of Sydney or Melbourne alone (not the state) in a confined area.
If there are going to be problems, you would expect Sydney and Melbourne to be the first hit.

Of course you are going to have problems with the high population dense areas. The chances of meeting one of the "can't happen to me, it's all BS" brigade are far greater in those areas. Also if someone does get it, the chances of spread are greatly enhanced. Produced well before COVID, and very topical!

Interesting "specialist" advice. May I ask you if any reason was given to suggest that Moderna is not as 'risky' as Pfizer?
I am not having a go at you or your specialist but the advice given contradicts to what scientists are telling us. I am more likely to change the specialist (unless it is someone who relates to you - like wife for example ) if given this advice.

Finally, I can see some sensible data from NSW health department that shows more or less real life information to see vaccination effectiveness.
Sadly people passed away and 11% of them where fully vaccinated. Yet, mainly people with other underlying health conditions which is no doubt related to their age as well. I can see a lot of sense in booster vaccination program aimed at that category of people only. A lot of scientists still believe the booster is not really needed for majority of people as cell memory is with us for a long time but immuno-suppressed people need the booster to refresh the cell memory more often.
They were vaccinated with AZ....
AZ has been plagued with issues from day one. only Australia and Brazil still use it. There has been 11 death in Australia associated the AZ. zero with Pfizer.
Scroll down to "Suspensions"
Limiting the chose to the over 60 is discriminatory to say the least. If you want to reach the opening up mark faster you must remove the bar imposed on the healthy 60+
QLD, WA, NT and SA make available Pfizer to the over 60, NSW, VIC keep on towing the PM's line.

Of course the deaths related to AZ are going to be higher, AZ is only recommended for the group who is likely to kick the bucket soonest. For a valid result, it needs to be across the board, not just a particular group. I could also make the point that people who drink whiskey, Rum, Vodka, any other alcoholic beverage you name with Ice (the frozen water kind) all get drunk, clearly, the common factor, here is Ice. ergo, ice is the bad guy.

11 cases in over 6 million? I won't even do the math.....
Are you serious? What they are "towing" is the advice of the national panel assembled by Dr Brendan Murphy and a team of the most qualified epidemiologists in the country. Jeeez, do you seriously think the PM makes this stuff up on his own? The boogaboo is flourishing I see.
Heres the chief health guru in SA....Prof. Nicola Spurrier.
Ummmmmmm................I'll take the Fed advice thanks......
