    Default ZZ Top's, Dusty Hill, dead at 72

    Joseph Michael "Dusty" Hill (May 19, 1949 – July 28, 2021) was an American musician, singer, and songwriter, best known as the bassist and secondary lead vocalist of the American rock group ZZ Top; he also played keyboards with the band.

    Hill died in his sleep at his home in Houston, Texas, after suffering a hip injury last week.

    ZZ Top's "Eliminator" was the first album I ever bought.

    I saw them live twice in Melbourne over the years. Great band. RIP.

    Sad news.

    Apart from their musical talents, the beards and 'spinning woolly guitars' were their signature.
