Default Only sookies ride the new Harley Davidson

Geez what a turn around, can't imagine the Hells Angeles riding one of these upgraded bikes, it would go against the grain
There is a fine line between "Hobby" and "Madness"

0-100 in 3 seconds... but you'd need to imitate the exhaust sound.

I ride a CBR1100XX - nice bike goes like the clappers - I would happily get an electric, ride it to work and charge at work each day

Sorry, not my cup of tea. If I ride a bike (and I do) then I want every idiot on the road around me to know that I am there! The electric things are even worse that the modern (muffled) bikes. At least, on a big V twin, you can, at least, feel the rumble!

I wouldn't mind being a sook but I can sook all I want, the wife still won't let me have one, with or without noise.

However contradicting that, I do like the trombone, was my favourite instrument as a kid until I tried to play one. Not hard to rig up with an actuator and a speaker horn driver with sampled Harley sound for solo.
OK that would work on my E- pushbike too and most certainly have the cops turn their heads around.

Too much work ~ just go the classic clothes pegs holding cardboard pieces that thwack into the spokes -- Proven Technology [tm]

Too expensive and not enough range.

Get it below 30k and range up to 300+

all i see with electric bikes is more dead riders.

you just see them in your mirrors but the sound of a bike
always reminds you one is near by so you are looking for them
but to have a silent death trap in your blind spot = dead.

plus they look like crap and i love the sound of a bike.
