    RIP...................Lotta memories there.............
The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.

Another Aussie radio, television and entertainment legend gone.

    Another lost to Alzheimer's.

Fond memories of The Ernie Sigley Show which ran from 1974 to 1976 with cast and guests reading as a 'who's who' of Australian and international talent, many of whom have also left us.

Thanks for the laughs and entertainment Ernie.

    R.I.P.

    R.I.P Ernie Sigley

I had a holiday house near him in Ballarat Vic. Practically neighbors. Great guy. Met him many times, always talking about the Footscray football club.

That song 'Hey Paula' Ernie sung with ding dong, they didn't think it was going to be a hit and said any money made would go to a charity.

It ended up being a No 1 hit in Australia. LOL Ernie was never happy about the decision. lol

He was an entertaining bloke and pretty smart to boot. It's a sad way to go, your mind literally failing each day until it cant even tell your body to keep going.
My wife works with this every day, and the toll it takes on families is horrendous. She is mentally tougher than me, I don't think I could do it. It's hard enough dealing with the patients, let alone the families.
Then there is the danger of violence when they became too confused. Many times my wife has had to run and lock herself in the nurses station (that's her employers instruction due to illegal understaffing)

Like the many great people of your era Ernie, thanks for everything.
