The best and sharpest MC I've ever seen.....

One of the few celebrities I am genuinely sad to see leave this world.
Old school manners, charm and attitude. A true gentleman. Unfortunately at the same time he left us, we probably gained another idiot.

    RIP Albert.

I honestly thought Bert was older than that, however, of the comedians in this world he was one of the true gentlemen. He always seemed to play "second fiddle" to others, but, without him the others would never have gained the notoriety (in the best sense of the word) that they did! RIP Bert.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

I remember that particular show, when he used that term while talking to Mohamed Ali. he got in the shit for that, as being black, they
don't like the reference to "boy". Of course, Bert would never have meant it in that way, and didn't!!! Bert was ALWAYS the true
professional, but I always sensed the antagonism at times, by "Don Lane" back in the early days, who was so different in 'persona' xoxox

A legendary entertainer from the era when we had live variety television.

Thanks for the laughs and the memories.
