Sometimes, deep inside at the back of the removable drives dvdrom, hdd, etc their are couple of screws you need a long shaft philips driver to remove after the drives are removed of course .at least in some dells an earlier imb thinkpads from my experience.else just a few obscure pastic tabs ,needing to be depress from their detents simultanious to release.Yeh have refurbish a few,as you are aware others try home brew disembly an the results you can find on ebay in parts sales?
As to your brand an model, not sure havent done one?yet.Just be gentle.much plastic internal construction is fragile, not much in way off cast alloy or metal anymore.just simulated metal finish plastic as per most consumer electronics facia an casing.cheers!

There can be several ways to get a keyboard off, there may be a small strip of plastic at the top of the keyboard between the screen hinges or over the hinges that also contains the power switch and lights. Try to get it off and it may reveal screws or clips that hold down the top of the keyboard

Don't know if this is any help but I found this generic notebook disassembly instruction....sounds like you are almost there:

The following generic steps can help you to dismantle your laptop.
    • Remove the battery.
    • Remove all cards on the bottom (memory module, wireless card, modem card, etc.) Be careful with cables and connectors, it's very easy to damage and very time consuming to replace.
    • Remove all drives (hard drive, CD-ROM drive, DVD drive, etc.) If you cannot find the hard drive, it most likely is hidden under the keyboard or under the top cover assembly. If you cannot find securing screws for the optical drive on the bottom, they are most likely under the keyboard.
    • Remove all screws on the bottom of the laptop.
    • Remove the keyboard securing strip. Be careful, sometimes it might be very tight.
    • Remove the keyboard.
    • Remove all screws under the keyboard and disconnect all cables.
    • Remove all screws securing the display assembly. Lift the LCD screen / display off the base.
    • Lift the top cover assembly off the base.
    • Remove all screws securing the system board, the power board, the video board, etc. Disconnect all cables, connecting the boards.
    • Remove all boards and remove the CPU.
