    Default Virtumonde

The lappy has been infected and I have tried to get rid of it. Spybot tried but no good, it keeps coming back even straight after it has "healed" it. What is the best thing to get rid of it which I can load with a stick that doesn't need the internet?
I don't know if this is a symptom but I can't get on the net and when I try a web browser page comes up with my C drive index...scary

    Cheers

    Download
then boot in safe mode with no network support.
Run the proggy( it only does a quick mem/ rootkit scan etc). when its finished tick complete scan and run again.
What happens if I press alt + F4?

If you still have problems see there are some variations that need different approaches.

Thanks Guys, I ran Dr Web and it got rid of 6 items. I did have a problem though because before the full scan finished it kept saying it had an error and shut down. I tried 3 times. But I have re-logged on and a window popped up saying that the system has just recovered from a serious error and we can get back on line.

    Cheers
