2022 Off And Running.

There was a sudden and unexpected massive storm cell that ran through Canberra on Monday evening. Trees down all over the place, massive winds that rivalled the Antarctic in intensity and large horizontally blowing hail that bombarded us again.

Car that was golf balled in 2020 has dints again, although only on the bonnet and boot (the alloy panels) so back to the insurance company. My roof seems OK this time.

No power now for 36 hours. For electricity junkies like us thats never happened before. The house is like a spaghetti junction with power cords from the generator. It's only a 2000 watter, but is coping well. I'd like to thank the members of this board who recommended a Honda eu20i several years ago when I asked. Ol'boy and someoe else....can't remember.

We aren't expecting restoration until late this arvo....I haven't gone near the freezers downstairs, but I hope the contents are OK. I'll check them this morning and give them some power in turn if they need it.

So, in summation.....

2022 can go f*ck itself already!!

I need more coffee.....
