    What point are you making here as I do not see 1.2 billion dollars mentioned anywhere ?

    To be fair and according to:

    they receive based on the 2019/20 budget yearly 1.08 Billion, so not too far off.

    Historically corrected for inflation that is however roughly half of what they got in the eighties when these shows were produced.
    Update: A deletion of features that work well and ain't broke but are deemed outdated in order to add things that are up to date and broken.
    Compatibility: A word soon to be deleted from our dictionaries as it is outdated.
    Humans: Entities that are not only outdated but broken... AI-self-learning-update-error...terminate...terminate...

    An ABC Wikipedia is not really a safe place for facts, but your figure isn't far out.



    The ABC will receive $3,284.9 million over the next three years, as shown above. Which would be just under 1.095 billion a year. So yes, I was incorrect. But not grossly inaccurate and the fact they are a clueless bunch who waste endless money on crap does not change. Sad but true.
