    Default A Question

    Silly maybe...

Where the f*ck do they get the actor.......ummm...people that do the Real Insurance ads....honestly, I have to admit I find politicians more convincing and for me thats a BIG admission.

Sorry...just watching a doco that got invaded by these zombies. ZOMBIES, yes that's it!!!!!

Or the ad for Aztec Solar, with the Irish bloke with the very heavy accent.. Can't understand a word he says.

Just goes to prove the ads work, mate.

You've even remembered the name of the insurance company.

The most-effective ads are ones with a catchy jingle, funny, or irritate the crap out of you.

I think we know what category you've placed these ones in.

You'll see more of this as the years march on ~ the 'new millennials' have now grown up and having families, and are the new target audience...not us olde farts...

...send someone an email flame about 'age inappropriate' advertising...lol...see if they bite.

Yeah, I get all that. Lived in a group house with radio ad people in the 70's. And I know it's nothing new..."WHERE D'YA GET IT"

But f*me, it's really bad. I resent watching two planks trying to convice me to buy sh!t, I really do. There are clever/funny ads out there.

Ads? what are they? I think you mean the breaks in TV shows where you are given the time to mow the lawn, paint the fence and get a cup of coffee.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

Yes,the one with the leaking gardenhose tap.The "Plumber" opens it instead tightening it.
I send an email to the insurance compay and they answered, yes we know,it's an actor not a real plumber.

I say that about a certain percentage of the population ~ they're actors, not real people.... (targeting ads including reality is a buzz kill)

PFFFT what you guys have mentioned is nothing compared to Clive Palmers acting in his advertisements prior to an election

Yeah true...but thats only brief. And it doesn't do him any good. He didn't win a seat last time did he?

The bullsh!t we're talking about is everyday and constant. Like the poverty ads. Or telling me that if I send money I can help save our fire caused extinction bound wildflowers....FFS.

You could always donate a BIC lighter or a box of matches…

We get the exact same Ad for an NBN Broadband Provider!!! It pisses me off!!!
I'm sure they do these things deliberately, just to make people talk about it!!!

    "lets do something fun kids!"
    "what can we do dad?"
    "lets get some life insurance!"
    "yeay !!! that sounds awesome!"

The fun part is to ask yourself, "How does the economics of this work?"
How can they afford this constant advertising? There must be suckers coming in the front door, so then how do they avoid the payouts at the other end.
Some of them are promising what appears to be a no loss insurance scam. You'll get back what you put in comment.
If you drop out or miss your payments, thanks for coming.
