Default Low Battery Alarm via Wifi

Recently had a dead cell in a 12v Deep Cycle battery in our Motorhome, the low voltage cut out (load) worked, but solar kept on charging the battery. When not in use I may check on the motorhome say one a week. but I would like to known ASAP if I have battery problems.

A Low voltage alarm with buzzer and light is not good enough would like to connect it up to a WiFi unit that will notify my phone of low voltage conditions. Is there anything available. Lots of equipment to switch equipment on remotely but to me not the monitoring/warning type with signals going in the opposite direction.

    Low voltage Alarm

I know I could connect it up to my yet to be installed replacement Burglar and have the B.Alarm set to 2 variations, House + Battery and Battery only

After a quick troll () it would appear most 'wireless' monitors are referring to bluetooth wireless....which may not be what you want?

I use something similar for this exact purpose, and while it is not WiFi, as long as I am within Bluetooth range (10-15m) of the camper I get notifications to the phone. One of our bedrooms and the garage is within this range, so I get notifications several times a day (if the battery reaches a certain level).

May be worth a look, if you are within range of BT.

Thanks I only want to be notified if the battery voltage goes to 11.9v or below.

Can the unit be set, for this one alarm only?
Can it be set to go off at/below 11.9v ?

    Thanks

Most batteries do not enjoy 11.9v deep cycles - how did you arrive at this figure? Battery spec sheet? (not all batteries are the same)

At a glance, many of the cheap units are a rebranded generic device using the same app...and most of these look to be preprogrammed with a low battery warning set to trip @12.4v

If the Mh is not in use 11.9v indicates to me the battery is cactus. From memory the low voltage cut out operates at 12volts.

re 12.4v It could be that with the TV, lights and Diesel heater going and the water pump is switched on via a Tap the voltage could go under 12.4 for a few seconds or more, I do not need an alarm in this situation.

I just want to use this alarm for battery issues. ( Last week preparing for a 2 day trip had to replace the battery with the boat Battery 3 hours B4 leaving)

Thanks for the info on the BM2 Battery Monitor and according to the vid below does provide alarms for a given State of Charge percentage.

The ones I use make use of the ‘BM2’ app (free) for one battery or the ‘Multi-Batt Monitor’ app (paid) for up to 4 batteries. I use the Muti app as I monitor 3 batteries.

You can set alarms for two different power levels as a percentage of the battery. I think 20% equals about 11.9v (but would need to confirm).

You can also set it to send you daily notifications via BT about the battery status.

Edit: 12v seems to be 0%, so probably can’t set it at 11.9v.

Any good with electronics? You could always use a ESP8266 and with a bit of programming do it...
