Might be the 'Light & IR' board...didn't bother tracing the schematic ; you'll sort it with a schematic? ->is there a separate inverter board board
edit: nah, I had a quick look...seems like the backlight inverter is built into the panel
Hi all,
Regarding LG 32LX2D, I know it's old but so am I!!!
TV turns on and has sound, backlight flashes briefly and then fails. If retried a few times it always comes on.
I've fully recapped power supply. Is the backlight supplied from power supply or is there a separate inverter board board. Obviously I'm working without a circuit diagram.
regards,
Glenn

IC904 (dual mosfet) is controlled power to display ; as noted actual voltage depends on panel used -- the power lines marked VLCD power the panel (including backlight inverter) ---- the control line 'INV_BRI' will be inverter brightness (at a guess), and seeing as this is the LVDS connector to the panel, one presumes the backlight driver is part of the panel assembly

did you end up fixing it?
