    Default C&k 236 beep problem

I have a C&K 236 system that’s emitting a random beep. I want to decommission the system whilst I investigate a new instal, how do I power it down?

Unplug alarm from power point, then open main control box and unplug the back up battery.

Thanks. That’s what I thought. Will the tamper switch activate the alarm when I open the control box?

Yeah possibly. But if you have already unplugged from power point, just unplug battery and alarm / sirens will stop.

Once again what I thought, the problem is the box is locked and I don’t have a key. A visit from a locksmith needed I guess!
    Thanks for your help

If you going to upgrade the alarm, just bust it open however you can.

Just yank hard on the door. The tongue on those locks isn't very strong. Easy to break open.
