Is Telecom 4 viewable in Melbourne on 2.3 metre did?

You should be able to load some channels from it with 2.3M. But the signals fluctuate, we have found around 6pm Perth time signals are at their best.

I found Express 103 at 96.5 degrees and loaded all channel in 15 minutes on two boxes but I spent 3 hours to find any channel on Telkom 4 at 108 degrees so I say Telkom 4 is totally not available in the Gold Coast area if you use a 2.3M dish.

Efarina is the easiest tp get on Telkom 4, as noted above this sat fluctuates throughout the day. So try at different times.

Telkom 4 has plenty of FTA Channels, What a bummy. I remember the days that all of these channels were on Palapa D 113Deg E but Palapa is dead now and the foot print of Telkom 4 does not cover Aus. I wonder what TX the guy in Melbourne was talking about?

Tried to load up Efarina 3977 H twice on different times it was a no go for me on my 2.3m mesh dish. Pity on the older days I would get 75% of Telkom 1 at 108 Deg with no issues on the 2.3M dish

The only reason why I want to log any channel on Telkom 4 is so my Ultimo 4K box with Blackhole identifies the satellite and log it in.
