Sound-Card, 'Shmound' card... Well it works!!!

[Ah-Those-Old-Days!]

My very high-end 2nd hand ACER laptop, had a fault with the built-in sound-card...
The "Audio Out" jack was not working. Stripped it down, with the hopes of repairing/replacing the 'Jack'.
It was physically stuffed and could not be replaced by an "off the shelf" pcb mounted part...
Being old, and behind the times, I found a simple USB device, that plugs into any spare USB port on the laptop,
and simply & automatically takes over all Audio Inputs/Outputs, withour caring what's 'on-board' !!



$4.99, and it instantly solved all my problems!!! All works fine now. I'm sure there are others here, that think...
"Didn't you know that you dumb shit!". Nope! Especially how it totally took over from what ever was on board!!
