Very Nice.. I had my holden dash and gauges refurbished by the dash doctor in Melbourne. It was many many years ago and I recall paying about $450.
The dash needed some new gauges, decals, needles and cracks filled and completely painted. OEM parts are expensive nowadays thou'..

I had an XT ex taxi, it had a 3.6 engine that was a freak (it would eat most small bore 8s for breakfast. I modified the original dash to take the extra gauges a la GT, so I can appreciate what you are doing. I loved that car, as did my wife, It was a sad day when we had to trade it for something more practical when we had kids. Mate had an XT GT sleeper, it was pure phase 3 down to the the dash! Are you fitting a four speed or auto?
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

The C10 would drive me nuts =) That was part reason why I sold the Brougham years back ; couldn't afford/get and overdrive for the powerglide it, plus no direct drive/converter lockup clutch...fuel economy 8)
Yeah...last conversion I did was to a 2nd gen Bronco XLT ~ swap out the C6 for a 4R70W ; first 2 ratios are a little shorter so it accelerates/pulls a bit harder, but the bonus is when in OD with torque converter locked ~ 100kph = 2200rpm =)
edit: silly footnote ~ the Bronco had a reciprocating piston type A/C pump not a rotary pump ; customer complained of a weird throbbing noise when in OD with TC lock...took us a while to find it. Turned out that around 2100rpm it'd get this rhythmic beat happening between the power pulses of the smallblock v8 and the compression pulses of the A/C pump, and this'd play out on the drive belt ...go figure =) Apparently Ford in seppoland had come across this as well with the first AOD auto trannies, and there were different diameter pulleys available to move the A/C pump rpm away from the resonate frequency when cruising at 50-60mph ...rotary A/C pumps effectively solved the issue 8).
