it should load in both when using a linear feed, at worst the one pol will be close enough to null out the other , resulting in corrupt video. It really depends on how how your lnbf is skewed.
As long as it loads and plays annd is stable , don't mess with it
The difference with my setup is I use a Chapparal feed horn with two separate LNB's. ATM I have the skew to suit Asiasat 5 for both Vert and Horz. I get ABC Australia on Horz on Intelsat 18 180 deg east that is RHCP.
By the way the Russian mux is turned off on Express AMU 103. I blind scanned it late yesterday after all channels disappeared and found the same transponder in question with no channels + 3 others transponders sitting there. No doubt the Ruskies are up to something.
Amu3 103E is all as normal here?
Just to test I disconnected Vertical from the LNB to see if Cross pol is the reason why I have now Channels loading but nothing changed. Find the Transponder in one second and loads nothing.
2.7M test dish in Perth still playing everything as normal, using linear feed
The Power still the same as far as I can see, and still %71 on the linear feed
96.5E is at %65 quality in DVBDream
Something odd for me as I can get low power transponder and nothing has changed for them on other Sats but not on Express AMU when I cant get. I also use DVB Dream on my computers that has a sat card in it and it the same as the V8X and the Vu Duo2. Maybe I dish is whisker to small as I get Quality of 39-41 but at the same time guy in Melbourne (Jaffaa) have reported on this thread that can get it with quality of under 20 ("eg" Quality of 10 to 15)

I wonder if Asiasat7 105.5E 3920 H is causing you issues when your dish is at 103?
Could be. Only 2 Degs apart and freq close. Asiasat7 105.5E 3920 H and Express AMU 103 3925 at a Gold Coast angle. Maybe Star TV has bump up the power, come to think of it the date 220727 or better still the date of 27 of July 2022 its about the same time I lost the Russian mux on Express Freq 3925 RHCP (I use Horizontal). If this is the case a 2.3M dish and side lobe's issue will cause this.
Tell me this National Geographic Mux and other is it a new transponder or a recycled one from other channels with different frequency. Mr Craig should know this.
Anyway to get around this if this is the case.

The only thing to solve this spillover signals is bring the inclined Russian Satellites "Gorizont 1 ,5 etc." back, you will receive it at the top or bottom of the inclined elevation. at least you will surely received the signals..a bit like when I wanted to receive Palapa Signals but Chinasat is in the same position.
Asiasat 7 3920 H started on the 28th so likely to be part of your problem
