    Default Windows on an xbox?

    G'day, dumb question, I'm aware that an xbox is essentially just a PC. Is there any way that you can actually install windows on an xbox of any generation? I tried it with my old original first gen xbox years ago and all I managed to do was give it the dreaded RROD.

    You may have more success with a version of Linux. I've no experience but a search on on of the various linux fora might yield the relevant info.

    I had Win98 running on an orignal xbox and as above linux has been done.
