Will i see much benefit from a small SSD?

G'day, I've got an XBOX 360 with a 250GB SATA drive in it, if I was to pull that out, and fit an SSD of similar capacity, would it benefit the xbox much? I realize the difference it makes in a PC, but I'm wondering if the difference in the old xbox 360 would be worth the expense of the SSD.
