Default Same Channel Branding and Same Watermark as Capital Cities

Just a minor point I know

I have noticed in the Newcastle Hunter Region all local TV Stations now carry the same "branding" as the Capital City counterparts

Nine, Seven and Ten branding and Watermarks are the same as the capital cities (No NBN, Prime Seven, Win etc ... ) (except for NBN local news ... only exception)

The use of NBN, Prime 7 etc ... branding always used to make our TV channels feel inferior to the Capital city counterparts ... in my opinion

Also using the same branding and watermarks as the Capital cities makes the "on Demand Services easier to be identified with ... in my opinion

Only a minor point I know ... but makes our tv feel as good as the Capital city channels and not inferior any more

Thankyou to whoever has done this

(Prime 7 watermark is the last one to have just changed to 7 logo ... here )

    Default

    Seven West Media buys Prime

Prime Media shareholders give the green light for Seven West Media merger (back in January 2022)

This all makes sense now that the Prime 7 and GWN channels have rebranded to Seven Logos and Watermarks

Seven West Media are the owners of channel Seven Network
