Hills voice nav lite and NX4

Hi All,

So my battery has been running low for quite some time with the keypad giving me warning, On the odd occasion while at home the alarm would randomly go off, this has never happened but notice my power went out for a brief moment and came back on like and outage and been experiencing random alarm just going off while at home.

I removed the old battery thinking this will temporarily fix the issue but it will went off randomly on some days.

I decided to get a new battery and install and thought great its all good light are all green and working fine, until it went off again about 5 hrs after I installed the new battery.

I know my master code that I set, was there any other code to know or do do after a battery replacement ? My battery I got from Jaycar which I showed them to old one make sure it was correct ?

The status light is yellow I guess to indicate the alarm went off.

any advice before I call in an alarm technician ?

Maybe a tamper fault.
Try pressing the status button, will the voice nav say what the fault is?
