Sh!t. I've had a lifetime of footy games decided by a kick, or a call. Both teams deserved to win blah blah blah. Every cliche under the sun. That's the beauty of scores in a contest. Winners and Losers. Clear cut.....as my old man used to say, "It's why men read a paper from the back page. The rest is just opinion."
People were screaming for a goal review system, and now they've got one....whether that was a small loud group (pies supporters after 2002 maybe) or more, I dunno. I'm happy to go with it either way.
Personally, I thought it was a point in real time, and having seen the footage, I STILL think it was....(I picked the Tigers by the way)

You shouldn't have...turned into a stunner after the first quarter. Although the first quarter was stunning for a different reason.
My brother is here atm. He's from Perth although he's not a Freo supporter (Carlton for him Al) but his son and some mates were there...had an amazing sound on the phone....

Fair enough, not having seen the game, or the replay. I agree with you, the umpires should be able to call it. Regardless of video evidence the umpire's decision should be final . If video evidence is consistently different to the ump, then the ump should be out of a job.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

I agree with enf, to me it was a point, Lynch wasn’t sure after he kicked it, the goal umpire called it a goal, the AFL set the guidelines that the evidence had to be definitive to overrule the goal umpire, watching the evidence it sure wasn’t definitive, I have no issue having a review system but in this instance I do not believe the guidelines were followed correctly, sack the reviewer….
