Have you reseated the RAM ? Remove ram clean contacts and refit .
Also faulty ram stick will cause this issue
Hello All,
I am having an issue with a Toughpad.
I went to power on the unit one day after being in the draw for a while, unit seems to cycle the fan on every 30 seconds for 10 seconds then off again.
have pulled the unit apart and removed the BIOS battery to allow it to reset.
has anyone come across this before and found a fix?
Thanks
Sean

Do you have the latest drivers and OS updates installed?

If you disconnect battery and leave it like that, and plug in the AC adapter instead to power it....same result when you try to power on?
check the fan and the air intakes are not plugged up with dust
Could be almost anything from flaky power on button, to some problem in the board itself ~ needs to be diagnosed (voltage checks on mainboard power supplies etc etc)
