China Grand Prix 4xFTA Channels F1

There are currently 4 free to view channels from the F1 in China playing out on Intelsat 8 Ku;

No idea of the beam coverage, but it is not this way into South East Asia as it is too weak for it at only 79% on a DM box and even weak on the plastic fantastic blind scanner (pictured above with a 3.2m dish) so I suspect it is for a teleport up there in HK and then fiber back to Europe.

premiere - pay TV channel in Germany, they have more cameras available to them
onboard - the feed for the onboard channel, some broadcasters offer this as it's own channel, such as Premiere.
data - live timing feed, also available to some as its own channel
DMC - no idea.

Just checked Lyngsat and the freq and symbol rate are not mentioned.

Checked the coverage map and realised why a blind scan didnt help.

Dammm would have loved to see the qualifying. Maybe Ch10 later tonight fingers crossed.

By the time you posted this the qually was over by about 4 hours and seeing the real feed plus these 4 channels all PiP on the TV - WOW I want it all the time! I see a IPTV stream in Germany happening next season for me.

I have no room for more dishes well not really as I have added more since this was taken.

I don't know that i would splurge on a dish just for Pas2 if all you were interested in was F1. 10HD seems to be telecasting the races live and I'm hoping that SC10 for us country viewers we will get it live next season HD also.

Yes starting 5pm today on HD from memory.

Its a question of will 10 transmit live continuously, when i did have my cband it was great being able to watch a European race at 6 or 7pm rather that staying up till 1 am the next day to see the end of a race and then getting up at 6am to go to work every second week.

Palapa sounds like the go specially since they have a variety of motor sport, it would be fun to get back into cband too.

I've got a c band dish which I'm trying to get a few things organised to it can go up. My plan was to have one up for the start of the F1 season
But it will be used for other channels.
