Sad. Regardless of politics he was one of the good guys.
Have a mate who lived over the road from him. They used to chat in the garden in the mornings until Peter saw the Commonwealth car turn into the street. My mate told me that he would say "Rod, sorry, but I've gotta put the game face on.."
RIP.
P.s. Rod wouldn't vote Liberal in a million years...
The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.
