get the old 80gbs or 60gbs, the new 80gb are just the 40gb with a bigger hdd, nothing to it.. ntsc ps3 might be better if your looking into blu ray
Hi all,
I'm currently looking at purchasing a PS3 as a combined birthday/Xmas present for myself!
I don't know whether I should buy a used 60Gb version or buy a new 80Gb version.
I own a few PS2 games and also have a few SACD's so I'm leaning towards a 60Gb version for those reasons. The PS3 will also be used as a Blu-Ray player but I don't know if there is any difference between the 60Gb and 80Gb on this front?
I'm also aware that the 60Gb version has a few more USB ports and flash card reader but can't see any real advantage in having these (maybe someone here might be able to inform me if there is an advantage in having these?)
Thanks in advance.
