seen it before else where , its a NAS unit attached to the wireless router and in turn the dream connected to the router.
done it before with a dns-300 dlink NAS

yep wap11 with card reader on the serial diag port.
It's really linksys modding, not dreambox modding me thinks.

sk8ergeek what you have done is similar to myself but instead of the linsky and its mod i have a NAS unit on a 10/100 hub hard wired in a cupboard at the other end of the house .i preferred the hard wired and i like the dlink as it has 2 built in usb ports that you can plug a usb stick in similar to what you have done
