    PC 1 and PC 2 do not look healthy.

    Is that damage to relay from the contacts or from the resistor leaning against it ?

    What current is it switching ?
    Altronics do a 7.5 Amp one.

    damage was from resistior leaning aganst it .

    is annoying because this was a spare unit i have had sitting in the cupboard

    They're rated at 16A, 24v coil, NO ....I got the cross reference from their own site actually --> ... so the SCHRACK part is a direct fit replacement.

    RS actually carry them -->>

    As the damage is from the resistor, is it only cosmetic ? Most likely.

    The damage to PCCI and 2 would worry me more, or this just a problem with the photo.
    Both appear to be extremely damaged.

    Yeah, ok..... I'd be tossing it (if no warranty =) Seeing that opto couplers fried, means it's blown it's mosfets on that phase, so they'll need replacing, you'll have to also check the snubber networks are ok for those, then you'll have to check the lower power DC hasn't been taken out by the optos blowing.

    These are a ~$160 unit ; even if I repaired them all the time, I know I can't economically repair them because time & parts exceeds cost of new unit. That simple....and because they're cheap CN shit, this'll happen again.

    yep been reading a bit more last night and checked some circuits and tracks and i will just toss it
    Ill just keep the front panle because its fine and can use it if needed on my working one.They
    are a bit more that $160 but not work the dramma considering it has to run a spindle at upto 24k.

    thanks for the input
    dont say linux if i wanted it id install it
