    Default Navman f20

    Hi,
I have a Navman f20 (canada 310) gps, is it possible to run other software
on this device or update the map? I have read on the net that this does not run windows ce core, therefore it can’t be unlocked or updated unless
its an official navman update, thought i would ask here to confirm, it does
have a slot for an SD card and usb port, but if i plug it in, my computer
    fails to install it?

    any help would be appreciated

    cheers

I have a Navman and stopped using it when I realised you can't update it for free.

In fact, my Navman is only 2 years old and I couldn't buy new maps even if I wanted to.

I bought a 7" w/s with wince 4.2 off ebay and use the IGO maps.

With hindsight wince5.0 would have been a better purchase but not sure you can get 7" w/s with that.
